As I approach the cut-off date I had set for myself before leaving academia and since I now have a child to think about, this whiplash did feel worse than others - maybe it's the sleep deprivation 🥴

I am glad you enjoyed it, thank you for joining us! I just have a few minor edits to do and want to include translations of the poems, but hopefully it won't be too long before it is published!

oh my it is indeed beautiful, but I can't really manage anything cimplicated right now! I am actually struggling to finish a garter + rib stitch blanket! Post pictures of the finished shawl please :)

Huge thanks to @afrayn.bsky.social and @chriskempshall.bsky.social for organising and for allowing me to have my newborn and childcare with me - ECRs should never turn down amazing opportunities because of parenthood and I felt very supported by the Society and Edinburgh Napier Uni tonight!
