A 2025 GMC Yukon is just a hair under what's left on my mortgage. I still have 15 years left at 3.75% left to pay it off.
I can't imagine trying to pay off my mortgage in 6 years at 6-7%. Jesus.

What I can't stand in these pulpy novels is the Twilight/50 Shades bullshit trope of a man showing you how fiercely he loves you by "never letting you out of his sight" to "keep you safe."
