If Slotkin and Peters aren’t calling for Schumer to step down, they are jcomplicit. And we are carefully watching what the next candidates say. Does anyone really think Haley Stevens would be any better, because as her constituent, I have seen her talk the talk but not walk the walk.

In Michigan they’ve moved on from his killer - all the way to us, their neighbors, who are insufficiently mourning him. Yesterday i drove behind a car with a *hand written sign* saying the driver was going to follow Charlie kirk’s teachings forever and anyone who wouldn’t wasn’t a true American.

i walked by a tv showing fox news the other day. they’re billing the victims as “narcoterrorists”. that framing struck me as key: they are other! we can kill them!
