Also adored the Final Architecture trilogy, and am now loving the Philosopher Tyrants series (am on book 2), which is an abrupt shift from sci-fi to outright fantasy, and i do not know how this guy is so prolific yet so good

Oh my goodness i have been devouring Adrian Tchaikovsky novels and series like they’re going out of style! The Children of Time series is a good place to start. Or Cage of Souls, a bizarre sci-fi-ish standalone novel.

Getting mad online about the silly little personal preferences of strangers was one of the most annoying things on the old internet, so it says a lot about where we’re at that it’s now a refreshingly cozy diversion.
