Great visit to Kelvingrove Museum to see the Art Extraordinary display. My favourite was definitely the ceramic sculptures by Kenneth Annat #Museums #Art #Scotland #DisabilityHistories

Took my son to see Monkeys @ntlmuseumsscot.bsky.social today. Great exhibition to catch before it finishes. Also, I took him to see all the minerals and gemstones, which is a new interest of his. #HomeEd #Museums #LifelongLearning

Earlier in our holiday Ben found what looked mainly like a rock with just the edges of an ammonite visible at the Black Ven. Took it to Alex Moore in Charmouth who prepared it for us and we picked it up today (Ben's 16th birthday). Such a great present a momento of a special birthday #fossils

Cannot believe my (fossil enthusiast) eldest will be 16 this week. As a birthday present we are in Lyme Regis fossil hunting for a week. Absolutely knackered though after a morning @wellcomecollection.bsky.social as well to see Zines Forever and 1880 That. Great day & catch up!

Current new library book, Penance of the Damned by Peter Tremayne. I'm enjoying reading again on my commute. Libraries are the best. My youngest has requested re-reading all the How to train your dragon books so saving money by borrowing rather than buying them #LoveLibraries #Reading
