Busy BTO to day Winter Bird Survey at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park recorded 35 species inc Cettis, Great White Egret, Fieldfare, Redwing. Afternoon was WeBS -Seaton Sands had 4 Red-throated Diver, 1 Shag, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Redshank, 4 Cormorant and 20 Herring Gull. @teesbirds.bsky.social

North Gare Sands WeBS improved with a bit of sunshine. 15 species recorded but numbers were low as the tide was <5m. Dunlin 299, Grey P 40, Oysterc 24, Knot 41, Barwit 9, GN Diver 1, Shag 3, Purple Sand 2 & GC Grebe 6. #NEburding @teesbirds.bsky.social
