One thing about Chris was the way he would say my old name. Destiny was more like "Dessiny" and I always liked that. I can almost imagine him saying "Julien!" in that I'm Trying To Tell You Something way.

I think of those I've lost and wonder what they'd think of me being Julien now. I like to think they'd be supportive. (Well, Dad would be his indifferent self. But Mom would definitely be all about whatever makes me happy.) Chris knew me as well as anyone. I like to think he'd've seen it coming.
