I have not seen Tiger King (must be the only person now 😂) but apparently Chimp Crazy on Neon is the perfect next doco watch after Tiger King. But maybe a palate cleanser of the delightful 35min doco “The only girl in the orchestra” (Netflix) might be needed in between

It’s so frustrating and overwhelming learning a new skill in isolation. This makes it not lonely and (less) frustrating. The company Stylecraft do them too. There are also KAL (knit alongs) I have done too. If ya google the whole enabling rabbit hole opens up 🫣

As their patterns don’t expire you can check their archives out for ones that float ya boat

Patterns are free (you can buy yarn packs but uk postage 🥴 so I use spotlight). They run for 6 wks. You get emailed a part of the pattern & a how video each week. Plus there is a FB group that is super helpful. Patterns & videos don’t expire so if/when you fall behind no stress they are always there

Putting in life lines in knitting is where it’s at! Especially with cables. So when I mess up at least you only have one pattern repeat to redo - has made me a fearless knitter 💪

Ring your usual pharmacy and talk to them - sometimes they can dispense a couple of days worth. Maybe not super helpful if dr away for 2 weeks. Or like the peep above said ring their practice and ask for who is dr covering their patients and results??

I agree I really feel bad for the 9 year old - poor kid but why use a picture of I’m assuming the 9 year old as a baby?
