This month's ScrawlrBox came with the challenge "Happy Place". After some thought I painted our soon to be closed local public library - Coundon Library. It might not look like much, but it has always been a happy place for my family.

I took my sketchbook with me to the park at the weekend intending to do some sketching. Sadly it was too cold to sit, so I took some photos and drew these trees at home.

The moody sky resulted in lovely saturated colours which I've tried to capture here.
