I personally consider the boycott a success because it was a baby practice action for people who have never done that before. People got on board! They got to feel what it was like! It was easy! And when they get asked to do something next, they’ll have an experience to build off of.

What the world needs now is a healing MySpace Top 8 meetup of Kindness Avengers. Panel featuring LeVar Burton, Ms. Rachel, Elyse Myers, Bindi & Robert Irwin, Tabitha Brown, Steve from Blue’s Clues, and Dolly Parton in conversation with Elmo at a library?

Kindness for our hearts! I’m just sayin’ 💚 🌎

It's weird that Looking for Alaska is the second-most banned book in the U.S., and mostly challenged by evangelical Christians, because the novel is about Radical Hope and how forgiveness is available to all people at all times, which are Christian concepts I wrote about because I'm a Christian.

The thing about going to the dentist is you never know if they will be like “everything looks good, see you in 6 months” or “you need a ton of work and it will be $3000.”

This is quite perfect timing as I just finished the Murderess and was wanting a non fiction book about the disease.
My new book, Everything Is Tuberculosis, explores the history of our deadliest infectious disease. It's also about our horrifying present: TB still kills kills over a million people per year, even though it's been curable since the 1950s.
