I mean, considering what the movie looks like, I doubt white subtitles against a lot of things that are white in the movie would be very easy on the eyes.

I'd love a dub for Gundam X myself. That's my favorite Gundam series of all time, and I know people want one for Turn A for sure.

Yeah, GKids would have the money to put out an entire franchise compared to Discotek. Plus, they'd probably be able to dub it and others.

Agreed. I'm not even really into mecha, or even the Gundam series as a whole save for a select few series, but even I think Gundam got done so dirty by the Right Stuf buyout. I wanna upgrade my Gundam X and War In The Pocket DVDs, dammit!

Somehow, I'd trust Discotek to get Girls Band Cry and give it the royal treatment than I would CR any day. At least Discotek promotes their licenses and ensures their releases are good quality, often with lots of extras!

I'm still wondering what the hell is up with Laid-Back Camp not being on home video yet! Not to mention them killing Right Stuf and ensuring that all the Gundam blu-rays are OOP!

Yeah, and I love that series! I've been trying to convince people to buy Romeo's Blue Skies from AnimEigo since that's a fantastic anime, but unfortunately no one's biting, which stinks because it's a legitimately great 90s anime!

They'll be included on there, yes, but there are also rumors that there's going to be an extra dub track that brings back VAs that couldn't reprise their characters back when the movies were first dubbed.

I know, right? Having seen the 1979 anime (Which has 50 episodes and covers the first book), Anne Shirley definitely compressed a lot, but even with its flaws, I feel its leagues above a lot of the stuff we usually get nowadays in terms of character development and actually evolving its narrative.

God, Hamtaro was my childhood! I ate, breathed, and slept this show in fourth grade! I even still have some old toys for it! I'd love to own this series on blu-ray and uncut at some point! Hey @discotekmedia.bsky.social get on that!
