What about Valerie the Dachshund? She took over an entire island in a game preserve, for over 500 days! www.bbc.com/news/article...

I grew up in Mississippi and Alabama. We had this regularly; it was a school lunch staple. (The ones from home, not the cafeteria.) I don’t like peanut butter, so no, but it’s not weird to me.

When the owner sold them to Dallas and snuck out of town in the middle of the night, fans crowdsourced so someone could travel to Dallas, attend a game, and pour beer on him.

Can I preorder? Are these people related to the angel and demon with the garden? If not, can I preorder both?

I’m reading Hemlock & Silver, and the further I read without hitting “that part”, the higher my shoulders climb towards my ears.

I trust Keith to come up with something forceful. A St Paul councilwoman told me that the Feds are trying to provoke a fight with local law enforcement. They’re looking for an excuse to get more violent. That may be what’s delaying Keith.

I’m sure if I had started with Vance I would have played this scene out in reverse.

I started with Tull and identified with it so strongly that, when I accidentally got Vance on one, I pulled off the interstate and convinced the manager at Courtyard to let me connect to WiFi so I could download the other version. This is perfectly normal behavior.

The Donatists are my favorite, because their controversy established that even though I am far from perfect and screw up regularly, the sacraments I administer are still valid. Even when I trip on my tongue and get the Words of Institution wrong. Also, Augustine.

Someone on @johnrogers.bsky.social thread suggested “Trials & Taxes 2028” with the tagline “Make Them Pay.” Not the midterm, and to the point.

I need somebody to put this in merch- shirts, yard signs, social media graphics. (With the “Make Them Pay!” tagline.)

Obviously, you are enjoying what you do and I’m not suggesting you change, but I wanted to mention this fun game in case anyone might find it useful.

@johnrogers.bsky.social turned me on to Zombies Run! which made running fun. It’s an interactive game that puts you into the action while leading you gently into running. He says the author just bought the rights back, so it’s a great time to get in on it.

There was a popular rhyme about Charles “Health to our sovereign lord and kjng; for sure he is a prize one; he never says a foolish thing; or ever does a wise one.” He replied, “My words are my own, my actions are my ministers’.” He was a master of never taking the blame.

Clifford, Ashley, Buckingham, Arlington, Lauderdale. Ministers of Charles II. They weren’t against him, exactly, they just enacted unpopular policies, and he let them take the blame.
