from a trans girls perspective i know theres a looot of pressure to transition young. other trans women, doctors, and the general online consensus when i first started was you wont get good results unless you start asap, so i imagine that contributes to trans girls deciding very quickly 2 transition

i guess the most accurate answer for me is, "i dont think of it in those terms". it doesn't feel right to track it from the start of hrt, and starting from first realization kind of flattens the experience in a way that feels less than helpful.

resurface. i was only able to transition upon turing 18 and moving out of my parents house, but i still was absolutely trans and concious of the fact for years, even if i discount the years i was living in denial.

i think this is a weird one for me bc i consider the start of me being conciously trans as from when i first realized, so from about when i was 11/12 onwards, but that wasn't a continuous state where i felt the same the whole time. i had periods where i went into deep denial only for the feeling to
