People thought Paul wasn't wearing shoes on the Abbey road cover bc he died when in truth its just because he's always been a quirked up white boy goated with the sauce and that is exactly the kinda shit a quirked up white boy would do

You know what the biggest pump and dump scheme was? Big tech promising us a better and easier future for those of us who actually contribute, only to rip the rug out from under us and make us pay to access the things that worked flawlessly and freely 10 years ago. Makes me physically ill.

I love Gabe Newell so much. The man is such an industry titan. I have no doubt that his new brain chip company will do no less than quintuple Steam's child gambling revenue!

Personal pet peeve: they change the timeline slider to a lightsaber when you listen to the Holst planets suite on spotify. Like yeah, that's what Williams used as inspiration and was probably Lucas' temp track. BUT ITS NOT IN STAR WARS. AT ALL.

Because I couldn't find any verifiable source stating so aside from scrubbing through the credits: yes, Teddy Blanks did the cool Saul Bass-inspired finale credits for Severance season 2, and yes, I'm so obsessed with title & credits sequences I had to check, and yes, he did an awesome fucking job

My jazz take that you're all gonna agree with in 10 years is that the movie Whiplash is better viewed as a non-literal interpretation of the relationship between the part of the musician who loves music as a child does and their inner critic pushing them towards excellence in a destructive way

My prediction is that within the next decade law enforcement will have their own honeypot ais for the same purpose as those people who pose as little girls, terrorist cells, and hired killers online. Itll be only for fed agencies and RTCCs at first, then percolate down to more local agencies

What hurts the most is that kids these days will never experience the simple pleasure of typing 80085 into your calculator and passing it to your friend in class as you both nearly get in trouble for laughing so much

If we're being real, the main reason Mr. Beast launched that AI tool is because he knew it would create massive authentic discourse, thus giving free advertising to his SocialBlade competitor. It's mass rage bait marketing, the same thing TikTokers do for bounties but on a much larger scale
