Saying something is "just a joke" doesn't automatically MAKE it a joke. 5/5

Just because they've been more or less respectful of me, that doesn't mean they are respectful of the people around them. So when they've said something (mostly sexual, mostly aimed at women, or people perceived as women), they often try to frame it as "just a joke" when, nobody is laughing. 4/5

The reason I said this, in this way, is that I have been approached by more than one person about my acquaintance. I have been asked if they have ever said X or Y to me, to which they had not, however I can also see this person saying some of the things that I have been told. 3/4

My acquaintance was saying how "I'm just a joking guy. But people don't get my jokes." To which I said something like "Well a joke is when people are laughing. If people aren't laughing, you're likely just being hurtful or making them uncomfortable, or they think you're a bully." 2/4
