This week's Sunday Best is my Xenoverse OC, Parma (for parmesan cheese). She had a partner named Brie. Parma dressed up to match the teachers she studied under, but her final fit reflected the one she started with, styled to match this one pair of gloves. She used Giant Storm & Double Sunday a lot.

Anyway, the circumstances of an enchanted relic with a consciousness like Viridian are of course way different, but they get that experience of being someone else, or at least part of someone else, which is really fun to explore on the page. They just struggle with different challenges of identity.

My escape, instead, is to my imagined worlds. I get lost in my own thoughts about all that, where I can disconnect from the mundane and build a friendly and cozy place where at least people can be whoever they wish and it's both easy and widely accepted. That's what I want the Relicverse to be.

I've got a lot of my own reasons why I made that choice, they're all my own, it's not a path I'd endorse for others. But! I do enjoy seeing others happy when they become their true selves at the end of the long road they take to get there. I cherish my friends who found that happiness.
