Presence was actually phenomenal. I liked the cinematography a lot, and the perspective of how it's shot was pretty unique. I still wasn't sure how I felt about it at first. Because while the climax of the film is pretty obvious from foreshadowing, it still hits pretty hard in the final

Finally saw Captain America: Brave New World last night. Just as I thought, the movie was nowhere near as bad as everyone made it out to be. It wasn't the best Marvel movie, but it wasn't bad. Also it set up a lot for the future, and to me, those kinds of movies are just as important. 🤷

Finally saw Captain America: Brave New World last night. Just as I thought, the movie was nowhere near as bad as everyone made it out to be. It wasn't the best Marvel movie, but it wasn't bad. Also it set up a lot for the future, and to me, those kinds of movies are just as important. 🤷

Fun facts: I wear makeup on the weekends because it covers skin damage and looks great.
I have a skin care routine that includes an SPF50 lotion before I leave the house.
I use pomade and hair spray most mornings to keep my look intact.
I'm also masculine as fuck 😂

So I don't know if anyone else does this, but I like to have music playing quietly in the background while I read. I've found that while reading work from @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social that I tend to listen to a lot of Modest Mouse. Especially when I was reading Acceptance and Absolution?! 😘🤌

Changes from the hardcover put the image into the same style as the 10th anniversary editions of Annihilation, Authority, & Acceptance. There's also a new intro by Julia Armfield!

I was at Barnes and Noble earlier today, and as soon as I walked in I saw an elderly woman that was shopping wearing a mask. She seemed guarded so I smiled at her as I walked in, and I swear to you I could feel her ease up almost immediately. People in my town can be so nasty
