I predict enough Republican Reps are going to resign before the mid-terms, that MAGA Mike will get ousted and a Dem Speaker will be voted in. Someone opined that the Reps are waiting for candidate filing deadlines to pass in their states first, so they don't get primaried.

Of course! I'm sure we'd find a lot of names of Democrats. A search on "Trump" yielded no hits, of course. I'm sure a search on "Clinton" or "Gates" (as two examples), there'd be tons of hits.

Whatever you do, don't get a Kindle Fire. They're garbage. I didn't heed the reviews and got one anyway. They hold a charge for about 30 minutes. I've just got a simple, early Kindle model my sister gave me when she upgraded. It's easy to enlarge the font, of course.

This is the greatest original Star Trek novel, IMO. It led me to a spiritual path (I was raised Atheist). Another trekkie told me it had that effect on a lot of people. It's truly awesome (as are all of Diane Duane's ST novels).

Nothing. My dad wasn't into music, although he did like Joan Baez. He told me this, never played anything by her. He probably liked her rendition of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", 'cause he was from NE Mississippi.
