In my delivery of reviews, I have found the helpful pattern being able to write stream of consciousness style with no care for proper word choices and then letting AI clean up the text for me

IMHO gen ai is just a data structure for a knowledge graph. Sheer scale of data gives an appearance of intelligence but there is no deep intelligence. I think breakthroughs are needed in reasoning and optimally maintaining and organizing a knowledge graph before real AGI

Are there any reliable data sources that quantify the impact of AI tooling for writing code in an org? I was on the hype train urging my team to adopt but I haven’t seen consistent results in improving velocity among my teams which are more senior / experienced.
