Great work and interesting read. A totally agree they are searching for the balance between a contested game and achieving quick efficient ball movement. I’m guess but reckon post the Hawks game they were trained all week around ball movement and just forgot they had to get the pill

Looks to be a strong side interestingly the AFL side would be considered quite tall whilst the VFL side is small and nibble!

Good read, I haven’t re-watched but am I right in saying we sent a HF to the stoppages usually Hobbs which left Amon loose behind the ball?

Redman will spend time around the centre of the ground this yr. I believe one of the identified failings from last yr was that Cardwell, Durham and others were were over worked and stuffed late in the season. Spread the load to mitigate the risk!

Great player, he never got dirty coz he always kept his feet, was probably the calmest player under pressure that I can remember at EFC. The ball seemed to follow him and can recall Sheedy saying “he would get a kick sitting on a dunny!”

Mines from the same draft as yours Zach Reid. Into his 4th preseason but has only played 9 games 3 of which he couldn’t complete due to injury. Track watches all say he’s potentially a great player and has all the attributes but I just haven’t seen it yet🤷🏻♂️
