Oh don't worry, you have every right to be because this series can be (mostly) confusing, but it gets less so in the later episodes. It likes to throw a bunch of random stuff at you out of nowhere but then explains it way later down the line

I genuinely cannot explain to you why that is (mostly because I suck at explaining), but I HIGHLY recommend to watch adventure time when you can. Even if you couldn't get into it at first
