after re-reading my (12+ yr) old fanfics and not hating them as much as i thought i would, i've signed up for a fest in a fandom i've never written for before as a way of trying to get back into writing - we shall see if there's any scrap of creativity left in me or if life has crushed it completely

when you'd like to start writing again but haven't in 10+ years and so don't know where to start and think really your limited time should be spent progressing your language studies which aren't improving as fast as you would like, so instead of working on either you just scroll for an hour and... 🤷‍♀️
