How does your garden grow? With first peony in its gorgeous glory, alliums and my favourite fruit plants being wonderfully abundant this year! Oriental poppies though are not as spectacular, owing to really early warm weather, so bloomed early but stunted in stature.

Spring time! Sometimes we forget how individual each animals are, there was a group of squirrels, I had one that put his paw on my knee when I was sitting down, another just really shy. It's nice to animal watch, we had our first spring picnic on Tues, nice to be out and I always love the green.

Snowdrops are go this month! I have seen some mega big ones, just shows how little I know about the varieties! They are really a cute late winter /early spring flower to welcome after dark days of winter. But hello! I am hoping Pink Sky will be better than IG. Let's keep it Meta free or X free? 😅😆

Just last week, it looked like this outside with the arctic blast. Then yesterday on Sunday, it warmed up really quickly, today there's a bite in the air again. Welcome to UK winter.

The comice pear glut update, I meant to update on what I did with them, first I made pear infused vodka, then pear, lemon, vanilla and ginger jams. I have 5 large pears left for cake and for making Kimchi later. I waited a bit as they were hard before so needed it to be at right tenderness.

Sorry, didn't see this. First , I did pear vodka liquor, I was going to do french pear brandy style but brandy is a little bit more pricey these days so I added some brown sugar to hopefully get a golden hue later on.
