Actually, the Gulf is located directly in between North America and South America. Those are Continents! Mexico is a country that is part of North America. The Gulf of America is actually a more geographically appropriate name. But that would be lost on you, wouldn't it.

I'm a lot less offended by citizens who protest their gov't's actions by attacking the gov't, which has unlimited resources to both defend and rebuild itself, unlike the innocent people of Portland, Seattle, Chicago etc who had their lives ruined by criminals destroying private property.
