I already set that’s great yeah I was gingerly getting up and down from the toilet and acting like a pregnant lady cause my tummy was so swollen but you’ll figure it out and in the end it just gets easier but yeah, not being able to poop was definitely really hard 🤣

Oh trust me the urge to order pizza was unreal for me. I was craving all of the fats and all of the fast food but I knew it was just gonna make me really sick so just be mindful on that but you’ll be fine with protein bars and shakes it will really get the nutrients into you and you’ll feel better.

Yeah, absolutely I really struggle to eat and also you’re not gonna be able to poop for awhile and when you do you’re not allowed to strain so I suggest you get a box or a potty squat to put your feet up on so you’re at the optimal level for pooping.

Oh another thing I just thought about as you do work out in the gym, have a load of protein bars, and shakes by your side because you might not want to cook or eat and it’s not best to order in and have fatty food cause that can make you even more gassy

Yeah, they’ll be a little bit of spotting, but it will be nothing like what you’ve experienced ever. I was shocked. I was like what is that? It is that all there is to show for it. I had to laugh so hard.

You well you won’t have to suffer with that ever again and it is such a freeing feeling. I’m planning so many things now not having to take a diaper bag full of period products every time I go out it’s amazing.

Isn’t it funny how the body is like now you’re still gonna get one yeah I had mine two weeks before my surgery but I’ve been actively bleeding for 20 years. It never really stopped but yeah, I had a full blown massive spot attack and I looked like a 16-year-old.

Weird facts when I was 18 they wanted a sterilize me because of my disabilities yet when I wanted a hysterectomy, they kept saying well you might change your mind about children figure that shit out. I’ve never had children

Oh, that is so great. I am so happy for you because I always advocate for this and I would hate for the younger generation to suffer like I have done. It’s really taking it out of me and really impact it on my career and various different aspects of my life.

Yeah, do that no one warned me about that sensation. I think I’m on at the moment because my boobs are a little sore and I’ve got spots and I had a migraine but I just feel like I need to bleed and it’s just so weird. I can’t explain it at all.

Oh yeah, my first 2 weeks were not pleasant at all and im just slow at healing internally. It’s taking me a little bit longer and I do keep thinking I’m totally OK and then overdoing it and then feeling a pull in my tummy and like a little tiny burning sensation but apart from that, I’m totally OK

Oh, I get that a lot. I look very young for my age. I’m basically a hobbit masquerading as a human but I don’t use any filter filters on my pictures. That is what I actually look like at 40 so yeah, I’m very very lucky.

Or just one thing I remember when your period is due if you do keep your ovaries, you will feel like you’re having your period but there will be no bleeding. It’s a very weird feeling and I can’t quite explain it, but just be prepared for it.

And hopefully because you’re a little bit younger than me, you’ll bounce back even quicker than me and you won’t hopefully take so long. I’m now yeah nearly week six and I’m still struggling but then I do have EDS so I don’t know if that’s got anything to do with it
