1. GDA Training Allowance increased to full wage

2. Urban Allowances for members stationed in cities

3. New Prison on Thortan Hall Site

4. Recruitment to bring GDA to 16k members and more prison officers

The rate of murder of Women has been increasing in Ireland since 2012, all besides a handful committed by Men.

The most disgusting stat is that the avrg age of Femicides involving sexual violence is only 19

This is a scary, horrific possibility. FF/FG governments have left the Prison Service at breaking point and not a single opposition party suggested expanding capacity in their manifesto.

Our politicians across the board would rather let monsters walk free.

Worrying figures: Just 8% of fraud and sexual offences are detected

And of that small percentage only a fifth reported to the gardaí lead to a prosecution.

This needs to be a focus for the upcoming government. Read their manifestos on crime carefully.

Crime stats by Region:

Dublin's per capita crime rate of 2.5k incidents per 100k people for theft offences, twice the state average, more than 3 times as much as the north western region.

Detection levels are lower in Dublin too, meaning the real crime rate is even higher.

Current capacity within the prison system is 4,519, as of September 2024, there were 4,938 people in custody.

A new prison on the Thortan Hall site should've been built yesterday. This needs to be an election priority. Why aren't opposition parties humouring this necessity?

271 Gardaí per 100k people in Dublin, this compares to 380 per 100k in London. Couple that with a housing crisis and this is inevitable.
