Tenants are making themselves heard.

Politicians must urgently address the housing affordability crisis that's slamming the poor and middle and working class.

They must protect tenants, preserve existing affordable housing, and produce new affordable and homeless housing.

We applaud the Spokane City Council for banning rent-fixing software that allows corporate landlords to collude and wildly inflate rents.

Greystar, one of the largest corporate landlords in the U.S., is constantly getting into trouble for its bad treatment of tenants.

Now it's a $24-million settlement with the FTC for bogus rental fees.
