The admin is firing agents pushing back on legally questionable orders, while also firing agents who accepted assignments given to them in a prior admin.

As we told @nbcnews.com: "Line agents can’t do their job if they're in constant fear that any action they take could result in termination.”

FBI fires special agents who worked on Jack Smith's probe into Trump

The agents were fired after Kash Patel disclosed that Smith's team obtained phone records of members of Congress, which the Smith report itself referred to.

DOJ unnecessarily furloughed employees in grant offices, putting domestic violence victims & law enforcement at greater risk.

As Justice Connection member Marnie Shiels told
@politico.com, "Their own contingency plan says that they have funds. So it’s a choice to say, ‘We want this to hurt.'"

DOJ furloughs could impact domestic violence grants. Some fear that's the point.

We agree with AG Bondi - it's disgraceful that federal law enforcement is working without pay.

Forcing federally funded programs to turn away victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence because they can’t immediately access legal documents is cruel.

DOJ is meant to serve everyone equally, not create conditions that make it easier for abusers to control their victims.
