This is not about efficiency. This is about cutting government programs while circumventing Congress. Efficiency is doing the same amount of work with less resources. This is about doing less (or nothing) with less (or none). That is the narrative that needs to be spoken about more frequently.

years. They are telling us they plan to replace the entire government with partisan loyalists. This is the creation of an actual deep state but in the open. How do you dismantle that without creating a vicious 4-year cycle? Resist but also plan.
