I won’t criticize the decision to rest the starters. I also thought it was the right call. My criticisms are the same as they’ve been all year, which is the offensive game planning and in game play calling. They should have been able to beat that team, and the difference was in-game management.

Pathetic showing by Philly fans. As an Eagles fan, it feels like their record is 0-2,524 and they play like an 0-6,048 team.

Yup. The media gets so much blame for their storylines, but the Eagles do this to themselves every fucking week. THEY create these storylines with their trash schemes, predictable game management, and arrogance like they know better than everyone else.

I am so fucking hoping for this. Let heads roll.

Week in and week out. Inept, but weekly and predictably.

I agree. Patullo could have eked out one more 3-and-out before the end of the game.

Not just 3-and-outs, but also the least inspiring drives we’ve seen in 5 quarters.

Barkley up the gut for 1 or neg yards.
Barkley up the gut again. Maybe gets 2 yards.
Force the ball into a tightly double-covered AJB for incompletion.
Punt and watch the PR rack up 150 yards.

Rinse and repeat.

The Saints gave up on him after three seasons, then the Eagles gave up on him after one, then the Lions after one, and now the Eagles after one. This’ll be his 5th team in five years.

I don’t like the move at first glance, but maybe he comes with some baggage that teams don’t want to deal with?

Their O- and D-lines have been better today also.

This defense is exhausted also. They’ve been on the field way too much. The offense needs to do something to give them a rest.
