I still don't agree with making him lose his final match. I think this is one where you give the fans what they want and take current dynamics out if it.

You can't possibly be this clueless. It's not about the paper, or the grade. The student and her mom have made it very clear that they believe trans people shouldn't be allowed to be teachers. Her essay was written through that lens to belittle and demean the TA.

I see it more for Rielly than JT. Yes, he wants to win a Cup but, he just signed a four year deal to stay in Toronto. Can't imagine he wants to immediately say yes to a trade out. I could see it in year 3 or 4 he says yes as a rental, but not right now.

JT, and maybe Rielly, are the only ones who may staunchly refuse a trade. Matthews and Nylander get to control where they go, but if management says we're rebuilding and we'll send you where you want to go, they'll say yes.
