Yeah drones are a weird combination of semi disposability, consumables during war, and you also need to iterate on design and software continusously. Not a typical pattern.

I mean, the shareholders knowlingly bought shares in a company where one person has complete control, cannot be ousted and can spend money on anything, that was supposed to be a great idea!

Plus the only people who can pay will be the top targets. It was bad enough when they first announced it, but now this shows they dont really believe it can work.

these have I think existed for a long time without VC anything. Apparently they just do not work. I dont know why they exist.

Code got much cheaper to write in the last 15 years or so, as we used open source libraries instead of writing stuff from scratch. Demand for code still went up.
