All NGBs receive funding. Tax breaks are not sport-specific but from a scheme aimed at all professional sports participants resident here.
Moral of the story is never pimp out a sport and expect to keep control of its custodianship.
Some of the carry-on in Welsh rugby is unforgivable. Depressing.

All my cousins and myself brought along by my mum and aunts. Massive box of rubbish to eat.
When we left the cinema, my favourite in Dublin, box was just full of wrappers and it was dark outside 😂

It is unforgivably normalised. Even if the horse has already bolted with regards gun ownership numbers, Assault Weapons Bans do work, as proven before.
Otherwise 5 yr olds doing shooter drills at school instead of playing will remain the norm as will school books like this below.

The click just isn’t there for you.
There are people who say ‘Physical Graffiti’ is the greatest Led Zeppelin album. To me they sound bored on it, and that it was a pile of outtakes thrown in to accompany two songs that didn’t fit the last album. I love Zeppelin up the one before.

‘Know Your Rights’ is what The Clash were all about.
They were great. Pearl Jam covered that song during a very tense time in the US and boy did it resonate.

More tragedy on Irish roads today.
Just awful.
And people don’t seem to care.

I overtook a van doing 50kph on a 120kph stretch of motorway this morning.
Driver was watching horse-racing on a phone mounted on dashboard.
Beeped the bejesus out of him and reported it but seriously, ffs.

I got booted off a Billy Connolly page recently.
They posted a quote of his when he noted his mortality, saying he knows his time will come etc.
I said “Well get on with it then!”.
Went down like a shit sandwich.
