Gambling is the cause of extreme harm in our communities, and Australians lose more to gambling than anyone else in the world per capita. We here in the Northern Territory have created a regulatory system that operates as if its primary purpose is to serve the gambling industry, not the community.
Today's Friday shout out is to Di (known to many of you as Chiny!). Di was one of the first constituents to come into our office for help with an issue - and she left offering to volunteer for us! Di is always the first to arrive and doesn't leave till the job is finished.
Thank you Di!

Today’s Friday shout-out goes to @Pushy_sinbad from @sustain_textiles. Push has supported us from the start - from t-shirts to tea towels, and a beautiful mug brought all the way from Mumbai, made by a women’s collective supporting women fleeing DV. We look forward to working together in 2026!

Visitors from the United Nations have been denied access to NT prisons and watch houses due to 'operational capacity', but at the same time, this week NT Corrections is hosting a international delegation visiting from the UAE.

What does the CLP Government have to hide?
