Any update on the Seattle stop for the book tour?

I think it’s definitely a step down from the OG but that’s Paxton/Hunt (plus the 🐐 PSH). Impossible task.

But this was an ideal “summer flick” to me. Hit all the right notes for me and was a blast in IMAX. There’s a chance it hangs on in my Top 10 of 2024 when all is said and done!

I know self-promotion is a bit tacky but I have to plug a pod I did four years ago upon watching it for the first time. What an absolute joy that movie (and its sequel) is!

Just move Nurk to third string and it’ll be easy to find minutes!

Fortunate to be friends with the author and I can assure everyone that A LOT of blood, sweat, and tears went into that book. Thanks for highlighting it, MZS!

Do you have any potatoes? You could whip up some Home Fries!

Yeah it’s legitimately one of my favorite movies ever. Always makes me happy.

But also… it’ll never not be funny to me that Favreau wrote and directed it and who does he cast as his love interests? Sofia Vergara and ScarJo. Just incredible work by him.

I love La La Land (it’s top 15 all time for me) but it’s not the MOST joyful movie ever. While lively and upbeat, sure, there is a ton of melancholy baked into that thing haha. If in a bad mood already, that’s gonna pop up a lot more than normal!

Fun story: I actually saw it at a press screening a month or so before it came out and had to rush there (LA traffic being what it is) and arrived not having eaten all day. It’s a testament to how good the movie is that I loved it since I was so hungry throughout! That grilled cheese!!!

The ultimate underseen cheer-up movie is Jon Favreau’s “Chef” - joyful, inspiring, funny. It’ll definitely help you forget SGA’s 40-piece that’s bound to happen.

I have nothing to add or change so I’ll just say ditto, follow you, and move along! Go Suns!
