What are the Jazz doing playing Clayton JR just 7 minutes tonight? Absolutely insanity.

Knicks really clicked tonight as a group. You can see how they want to play. Brunson was elite. Raptors started well but just outclassed. Really missed IQ and RJ.

Here are some words I wrote on the 35-year-old American hooper, Jarred Shaw, and his verdict today, what still lies ahead for him and how his story could still end up feeling like hope.

Key takeaways from the JS verdict:
-The judge did not apply trafficking penalty, despite early claims by authorities
-Shaw’s Crohn’s disease + medical use of THC played a pivotal role in reducing the severity of the sentence
-The U.S. Embassy issued an extraordinary humanitarian support statement

BREAKING: This just in. A press release by international justice advocate Donte West says, Jarred Shaw, the American pro baller, has been sentenced to 26 months by an Indonesian court today. Shaw initially faced the death penalty.
I should have an update on the Jarred Shaw case tomorrow. Shaw is currently in trial mode and a verdict is expected no later than Dec.10, according to West. The complication right now is Shaw has an infection in his stomach, stemming from not being able to manage his Crohn's.

Say what you want about Russell Westbrook, but man he hustles. He's giving the Kings compete and vet consistency. I love that he just racked up his fourth triple double this year; 207 career trip dub. Deserves more respect.

Someone in the NBA needs to clip their nails.

There's a lot of things I'm still thinking about from the Raps-Celts game last night. The thing I keep coming back to was that 32-20 third quarter win. They strangled Boston with elite defense. But it seems like it's not sustainable for four quarters, meanwhile giving up 77 in the first half.

England's unwillingness to adapt to pitch conditions, red ball - pink ball, pressure and flow of the game is mind blowing. Ashes cricket is about absorbing and creating pressure. It's about winning big moments. Mentally, they just don't look like they're up for the battle.
The England captain said he will be having conversations with his team-mates in the nine days between now and the third Test in Adelaide and, when he goes and knocks on their doors, he must deliver some harsh truths.

England cannot afford another game of just rocking up and playing the same way.
Nasser Hussain: ‘England’s players will not like what they hear, but Ben Stokes must deliver harsh truths’
The England captain needs to ascertain whether his players have the strength of character and adaptability to turn the Ashes series around

Streak over for LeBron but loved that he passed up a buzzer-beater shot for the game-winning assist. At 40, he still makes the right play. Wins the game. Pretty cool way to do it.

Embiid is out again. He has played 7 times in the last 45 games since Feb.24, 2025. Sixers are paying this fella $250M/4 years. He's holding the #Sixers back but who's going to take the contract of a 31-year-old who's body can't hold up to the rigours of the #NBA?
December 1, 2025 at 11:21 PM
The scariest part of the Thunder’s 20-1 start is how they are doing it. Those patterns that are emerging match those elite record-breaking teams like the '16 Warriors (73-9) + ‘96 Bulls (70-10). OKC's systems and rituals will make them hard to beat not just this year, but for years to come. #NBASky
