I’m becoming less and less enthralled with social media as life goes on but there are a few great friends who as life has gone on, I only stay connected in today’s phase using socials, so I am stuck here. Goodbye Twitter, finally.

You haven’t been in the airlines long enough to complain if you A.) Have never traveled for work on a paper ticket and B) never discussed when Northwest and then Delta was going to retire the DC-9.

I follow a group on FB that tracks Southwest planes, lately the trend is watching -700 retirements. A few days ago when I found it I thought “why are they retiring such young planes, I remember that delivery?!” And then I remembered I celebrated my 38th birthday Sunday.. ouch.

I’ve made the jump from Twitter, X, or whatever it identifies as now to Bluesky though I’ll keep the account active. Only appropriate enough for my name and this account, the first sky should be a blue though dark blue one
