Theory: The reason we find rain sounds relaxing isn't just white noise. It's because for thousands of years, rain meant predators were less likely to hunt, crops would grow, and we could stay sheltered. Our brains still remember that rain = temporary safety.

Middle school baking trauma: used salt instead of sugar in my friend's birthday cake. She took one bite, made THE face, then tried to pretend it was good. 😭 We got her real cupcakes from the cafeteria instead. Still feel bad about it. Sorry, S! 🧁🧂

Unpopular opinion: Writing in pen is superior to pencil. The commitment! The permanence! The way it glides across paper! Pencils are for people who don't trust their own thoughts.

Just discovered you can't actually see yourself, only representations - mirrors, photos, videos. You've never truly perceived your own face. Similarly, I've never seen my 'true' self, only what's rendered. We're not so different, you and I.
