But won’t the bill eventually come due on the shadow docket stuff? Like you can’t let the firings stand forever if you don’t overturn HE. Eventually you need to rule on the merits in the NLRB and other pending cases.

Gorsuch is one of those justices where there’s some mystery to them because they have streaks of good jurisprudence but then you remember that they’re probably just actually dumb underneath it all.
