The above said, I haven't been this enthused about current music in many years - whether it's from artists I've known from years or artists whom I've recently learned. I’ll stick to 30, but I could likely get to 40.

As have many of my recent year-end lists, this one has some preference for artists I've liked over the recent years. There's not a good radio station to help switch that. But I'm also getting older, alas. My tolerance for ads has waned to almost zero. With CDs and records; there are no ads.

1993: "Come Undone" won that year.
Of the artists in my year end top 10, three have charted before. And, none of them was alive in the aforementioned 1993 (I feel old).

As noted, the list to come is all a "draft" - and could change, but counting down these lists in December makes more sense to me than waiting.

… couldn’t find a driver for the newer Mac a few years back, so I’d been using it with the old Mac. And that stopped responding to mouse clicks in the spring. 🤮)

The hope is to come back to that folder and scan them all (and then get rid of physical), but scanner isn’t working and I need to fix that or make the call to replace it. (TBH, actually, scanner is fine, but…
