Hurray for the Riff Raff - “The Past Is Still Alive” (2024/Nonesuch) :: Americana in 2025. Not romanticising this shit anymore. Takes on being young and close to the decay that we all just kind of accept. Narcan, shoplifting, bad situations. It’s bleak, the songs are great and the spirit is strong.

Hurray for the Riff Raff - “The Past Is Still Alive” (2024/Nonesuch) :: Americana in 2025. Not romanticising this shit anymore. Takes on being young and close to the decay that we all just kind of accept. Narcan, shoplifting, bad situations. It’s bleak, the songs are great and the spirit is strong.
