Met my favorite guy at home to join @chefrickmartinez for his virtual winter salsa class. We created a pipián rojo. We served it over thick cut pork chops from @butchersalleyfood with rice and beans and a dry white wine from Spain. Cheers!

Stopped @the_millworks on our way to his family/the in-laws. Lovely Christmas Eve brunch - I splurged on lobster Benedict and he enjoyed the fried chicken and sausage gravy and biscuits. So many fun cocktail and beer. They have a staff made fig centric amber ale that is not to be missed.

A Hoot for the Holidays features Tara hoot as your hostess with the mostess giving you holiday warmth and love with bits of nostalgia and longing. @the_vagenesis and @shelitaramen pump up the party with songs and dancing that would break my hip.

My hubby made us the most amazing wings with @dawsonshotsauce that were part of @hotones recent series box. The caraway offers a really interesting and surprising punch.

Last weekend before our wedding! Opened my @vinovorela wine club bottles for special dinners. Paired branzini and spinach with @limerockwines that was a unique expression of sauv blanc. Tonight is @vinsmelaniepfister Pinot Noir with grilled lamb chops and Brussels (part of the recommended pairing).

At my happy place at Boqueria in Penn Quarter. The DuPont location is a close second anymore. I pass by them every day and have to tell myself the shishito margarita and sangria is not an every day treat. I am seeing my fave bartenders and staff. I love how welcome I feel here

Had a blast at my bachelorette party! It included many laughs, drinks, friends and stops at multiple spots. Maxwell Park was a highlight with our special tasting experience where we learned more about sparkling wine. I was also surprised by the amazing Tara Hoot and Mr. Hoot.

I took a scooter to Maxwell Park to pick up my wine club and needed to nurse my frost bite with wine and grilled cheese. Also, seriously need to wear gloves on those things in this weather.

We ordered oysters from @s.s.shucking who delivered them to our house. I bought cheese and charcuterie for our snacking from @wholefoods. Celebrating with your partner who is your best friend is a luxury and I can’t wait until next year when he’s my husband.
