Post-War: They are engaged and trying to court according to proper etiquette. But it is very hard for Dimitri when his fiancée is so alluring.

Originally this was meant for Dimileth Tea Soirée but … yeah 😅 Hope to finish chapter 1 at the end of this month.
Byleth slid her hand across the table and interlocked their fingers. Today, he did not wear any gloves, and he was thankful for it. His large, calloused hand, against her delicate soft hand was a feeling he would never get sick off. A pathetic blush creeped up his neck to his face due to the contact of their hands. Why am I so worked up about this simple hand holding? He was a bit embarrassed staring at her like that, but he saw her looking back at him with so much adoration and blushing cheeks. They gazed into each other’s eyes for a long time until the world around them practically dissolved into noise.  Her lovely voice rang through air. “Do you want another cup, Dear?” "I would love to.” Dimitri said as he presented his cup closer. She slightly leaned over the table to more easily pour him a fresh cup of tea. He couldn’t help but notice how her large breasts rested on top of the table. The top of her dress looked ever so slightly lower, showing a sliver more of the oh-so supple but forbidden flesh. Even more … he noticed how her breasts were even more drooping than usual, with what looks like two peaks poking through the white chiffon. Hmm, it seems like she wasn’t wearing a bra again… His mouth felt strangely dry and he unconsciously licked his lips. Oh, how Dimitri wished he could grab them and put his mouth …. He had to drag his mind out of the gutter and decided to focus his attention back on more appropriate places, like her face. Her eyelashes fluttered ever so lightly and her soft lips pursed ever so slightly. Again he licked his lips… Those lips … pressed against mine … Or maybe other places… Now, now, that’s enough!!!!

Back in the camp, Dimitri was cleaning his armor. He insisted he could do this himself as he found this task very relaxing. Scrubbing away all the dirt, blood and gore helped him compartmentalize the war and all of the violence of it. He was so zoned in that he didn't notice a pair of high-heeled black boots approaching him. They stopping right in front of him with a familiar clack. “King Dimitri, I must apologize for what I said before” Byleth said. Dimitri looked up and directly met her eyes. Giving a second to let her statement get through to him, he furrowed his brows. He had really no idea what she was talking about. “I am confused. For what do you need to apologize to me?” Byleth inhaled, closed and opened her eyes. With even more certainty, she stared right through him. “This morning, I called you 'cute'. When I told my fellow mercenary peers about this they were not happy about this. Apparently, for a man, being called 'cute' is not acceptable. It hurts your masculinity, they said … so I am sorry, I did not want to imply you are not a real man. I am sure you are very virile and manly”. Again her words left him utterly speechless. After what seemed like an eternity, he gathered his thoughts. “Miss Byleth, you do not need to apologize … I-I appreciated you compliment. My ... masculinity was not threatened. I was just a bit surprised your blunt words. Not many people are that honest and upfront with me” He felt bad that she was worrying about something as insignificant as hurting his feelings. Her eyes widened ever so slightly. “Uh oh, was I too blunt again?” “A-ah, no. I very much appreciate your bluntness. Dare I say, I find it quite charming” he said as a boyish grin adorned his face. Wait what in Sothis' name was he saying? The words left his mouth without much thought. Byleth looked down at her shoes, apparently being more interested in kicking away a small piece of gravel. Dimitri was unable to see her face clearly. “Oh, you are very kind... But I'm glad I did not … offend you ... I have to go now... Jeralt wants to train with me.” She said sheepishly. Byleth was waving him goodbye and as she was leaving, he noticed a small smile and a hint of rosiness on her cheeks. “Bye, cutie, see you later” he heard her whisper at him. How mesmerizing Oh...
