Dedicated to the mission of helping players learn to be come quality, effective judges for Riftbound. Inspired by the videos that helped me certify as an MTG judge in 2015, I set out to provide the same for future judges in Riftbound.
Where did you get those counters and markers?

If you have a LGS that does competitive pricing versus online, you might be able to work them down a little.

Otherwise, prices probably won't move much until after Christmas.

I legitimately may have played my last match of Magic at this point.

Seconding that I would buy these. Those are fantastic!

I think people miss it because the game is new (and they haven't even learned Action vs Reaction yet), but I don't think that's a good cause to change the rules versus asking people play better. Keeping track of things like triggers at all points in the game over the tournament is a skill, IMO.

Based on what Dave himself has said in the Riftbound Community Discord, neither of those things is happening.

A beginning phase trigger on turn 5 is easy to miss when there's a lot going on in the game. On turn 1, it's literally supposed to be your first action. Hard to have a reason to miss those.

When the game launched in English two months ago, it was "for sure" that Kai'sa and Yi were far-and-away the "best" two decks, with Kai'sa firmly on top.

Kai'sa was 3rd for Day Two conversion in this tournament, and put 0 copies in the top 4. Annie's surge is weeks old.

Stale? Not hardly.

It is highly unlikely to be allowed, the new policy (which was in effect for Houston) mirrors MTG and other TCGs - they have until a trigger creates a visible change in the game to acknowledge it. Points are a visible change, so The Arena's Greatest needs to be acknowledged immediately.

Errata text for Promising Future:

Each player looks at the top 5 cards of their Main Deck, banishes one of them, then recycles the rest. Starting with the next player, each player plays those cards, ignoring Energy costs. (They must still pay Power costs.)

Errata text for Karma:

[Vision] (When you play me, look at the top card of your Main Deck. You may recycle it.)

When you recycle one or more cards to your Main Deck, buff a friendly unit. (If it doesn't have a buff, it gets a +1 [M] buff. Runes aren't cards.)

Update: Fixed by Kelly, now correctly describes the timing of the transition.

This answer clearly suggests we immediately begin combat with Attack/Defend triggers, and that is explicitly not the case.

There should still be an opportunity to remove the newly arrived unit before combat begins.

CR 319.7 we cleanup after we move, and 322.7 we mark a combat as staged.

But per CR 322.10 we don't start thay combat until an Open Neutral State, which requires the initial showdown to close.

CR 345 showdown closes after both pass Focus, CR 345.2 then we move to combat.

I went through Dragon Shield's sleeve creator and made these custom for it.

Welcome to the jungle, we've got fun and shrooms.
