What did you think? I tire of the old crime cliche of someone gone missing who’s eventually found after being locked up for years. Dept Q was an innovative version. I think the Syrian assistant detective was the standout character and actor. Cool as a cucumber.

Dept Q, set in Scotland, based on the Danish books. Matthew Goode stars, it’s quite entertaining but a bit tedious too.

And here in Australia our Conservative government of the time got sucked into that lie by sending our defence forces into that long drawn out messy war. The Coalition of the Willing, they called it.
