A comment in r/nursing It ends when we stop it. Period. Look at any point in history when a country slips into a dictatorship/fascism. Then look at what stops it. That is your answer. The checks and balances are gone. An Immigration enforcement agency has been given carte blanche to do whatever they want. Police will not enforce the law against them. The answers are obvious, just not the ones people want. Ice will be at the midterm poling places, you can guarantee it. People need to ask themselves what they are going to do about it now. Not when it happens. Look up mutual aid in your area, look up street medics in your area, look up who is resisting and organizing. Start now. They will make it illegal. This was all laid out word for fucking word in project 2025. Eventually people need to realize it is a blueprint and they are following it. Everything they have done has been advertised since April 2023. Stay safe and assess you risk tolerance. But also realize there is a point when it is too late to do anything. Edit: since this comment is gaining views I am going to post this again. I know a lot of you are not, and have no, prehospital experience but it is still very useful and things many of you can easily do in protest situations. Download it, maybe even print it.
