Not a bad half, can tell that it is a mental issue. 2-3 years ago we were class at getting the second and third quickly. Somehow need to start doing that again #nufc

A strong Performance is more important tonight but it’s also a must win 😳. We can’t keep stalling every 5 games, consistently good performances should allow the results to follow, in theory. Enter #NUFC

The issue with the team atm is that we could go and beat Fulham comfortably tomorrow and beat Chelsea Saturday and I still can’t think that we’ve turned a corner. We need to out a performance at old Trafford and then beat Burnley away, which in current form seems unlikely #nufc

Watching a doc on how they renovated the Bernabeu to make it state of the art. Took 12 years from proposals to it being finished and cost £1.5 billion. Kind of understand the clubs reluctance to commit to anything at this point can’t really afford to get it wrong #nufc

Probably bad that I’m not upset at the result as usual because it was so predictable after the first 5 mins. We have lost our identity of intensity and we don’t have the technical players to retain the ball and play poession so rock meet hard place. Serious questions about summer recruitment #nufc

Defence doesn’t look to bad, midfield is miles off it, Bruno in the 6 doesn’t work. Tonali looks injured or he’s not asked cause he knows there’s a move coming (Isak PTSD). The attack is dysfunctional at best, genuinely feel sorry for woltemade atm, talented player in wrong system #nufc

I’m not Howe out but these must be his tactics away from home, even though he insists they aren’t. He needs to figure out these problems. If he needs a fortnight to prepare players then his elite credentials are questionable. I back him to fix it but it’s gonna be a long season #nufc

Might be being harsh but when joelinton plays now he’s more effective at stopping our attacks than the oppositions. Our quality in final 3rd is shocking #nufc

At least Howe has come out and said it wasn’t good enough. We’re playing ok and are 2 points off 5th. Wissa is back, Gordon coming back into form 🤞 if we can beat leverkusen seal the next round at least it’ll take the pressure off in CL #nufc

Seen Wissa may be on the bench Saturday, sooner we can get him up to speed the better. Think he needs to be main man. Personally don’t think we’ll see best of woltemade until next season. We need a pre season to establish playing style with him, we are doing it on the fly this season #NUFC

Game management is costing us. Inability to retain possession and take the sting out of teams is a major issue. Also if we don’t score the second we just shit the bed #NUFC

Not a good result but didn’t think we played well aside from bursts. Big nick looked leggy and personally would have started Elanga (who was shite off the bench) over Murphy who was equally as useless. Move on beat Burnley. It’s going to be a frustrating season #NUFC
