I agree. Trump for all his shortcomings gives his supporters a grand idea to embrace. Obama did the same.

Constant pressure on the most vulnerable GOP members of congress. Hold town halls in those districts where the members of congress refuse to do so. Actual engagement on local issues in those areas. Show them how the GOP has abandoned them.

I am virtually certain that this is a push to free up resources for large companies to pivot towards AI and replace workers. That's why the tech sector supports it.

Underneath the garbage it seems like Trump's real complaint is that the aid US has been providing is more than EU and is not guaranteed. Is there any truth to this complaint? If so, then it should be addressed by working with EU partners and Ukraine, not by cozying up to Putin.
