Me, at any given opportunity
A screenshot from Turn A Gundam. The city of Nocis lies in ruin, smoke spewing from multiple areas. Yelling from in the distance, the subtitled dialogue of Corin Nander simply reads "GUNDAM!"

DREAM INTERVIEW ACHIEVED
I spoke with Makoto Yukimura about penning the final volume of Vinland Saga. We also spoke candidly about the J. Cole "I have no enemies" meme, my procrastinated tattoo idea, the state of the world, and how being strong means being kind. gizmodo.com/vinland-saga...

Very excited that not only do we have a preview of the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of the ROTS novelization on the site today, but the one we have on offer is literally one of my favourite sequences from the book: the exact moment Yoda goes "oh, fucked up massively I have"

I'd say "Ramza Bay-wholve" but at this point he's ninjaing around dual-stabbing people with swords so my obsession with grinding speaks for itself

Did not expect to love Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider's first episode as much as I did, but it was honestly the little stop-motion Kamen Rider takoyaki in the ED animation that pushed it over the top for me.
A screenshot from Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider. A small takoyaki, with pickled ginger sticks for arms and legs and bonito flakes atop its head, performs the Kamen Rider transformation pose. A Kamen Rider Ichigo mask has been painted on its face in mayonnaise.

The NES set is brilliant! But it's more about the whimsy of the TV and all the mechanics that went into that for me, rather than the build of the console. This just feels really nice.

This is such a fun little kit, they nailed the Game Boy better than any of the Lego Nintendo models so far.
A photo of the Lego Game Boy. The reverse of the game boy shows Link's Awakening slotted into the cart slot. A photo of the Lego Game Boy. Playing with portable power.
A photo of the Lego Game Boy. It is an almost 1:1 scale replica of the original, and a lenticular screen shows the Nintendo logo scrolling down as part of the device's power up screen. she's killed so many people she is now capable of yearning to thundaja
A cropped screenshot from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. A post-battle screen highlights Josiane, a female Black Mage, as having provided the greatest contribution (by electrocuting swathes of beings, probably).

A woman in search of her murder.

one thing I love about FFT's randomly-named recruits is that you get so much little storytelling out of such a simple act

so far my playthrough isn't the story of Ramza Beoulve's struggle, it's about walking tactical nuke strike black mage he found in town named Josiane and her yearning to thundaga

A screenshot from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Ramza, standing atop some rocky ground as he looks over the field of battle, says in subtitled dialogue, "If we are the reason for your suffering, what would you have us do? I wish to understand it—what fuels your hatred." A screenshot from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Milleuda, a young knight with blonde hair stands on a battlefield surrounded by Ramza's allies and the corpses of her friends. She says says, in subtitled dialogue, "Vilest are they who knowingly grease the wheel of our oppression. Still, it is enough that you can stand before me in ignorance." A screenshot from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Milleuda continues, in subtitled dialogue, "You may not see the world beyond your high walls, but that does not mean they mark its boundaries." A screenshot from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Milleuda continues now fallen to her knees, in subtitled dialogue, "Were you to lend an ear, what then? Highborn or no, a lone cub cannot set the world aright by his mewling."
