Jurassic Park has 63 VFX shots, in combination with practical animatronics and a great collaborative minds eye, well thought out design and production it remains one of the highest bars in VFX.

One of the biggest offending processes of filmmaking within the industry is the widening gap between artist and director. So much money is wasted developing the movie at the end of the pipe where it’s most expensive. Storyboards and a targeted approach have been replaced with a scatter gun approach.
